Who We Are
Guided by Legacy. Built for Purpose. Aligned with Mission.
Native Hawaiian Organization
As a Native Hawaiian Organization with SBA 8(a) certification, the Ali’i Group is a reliable partner to federal agencies and prime contractors nationwide. We are agile, contract-ready, and built to scale — with a proven record of serving government missions with integrity, cultural intelligence, and unmatched dedication.
Rooted in Culture
Ali‘i represents the noble leaders of ancient Hawai‘i — respected chiefs who led with honor, wisdom, and a deep sense of kuleana (responsibility). Their legacy of disciplined leadership and decisive service continues to guide us today. At The Ali‘i Group, we are Rooted in Culture, standing firmly on the foundation of ancestral strength and values that endure.
We embrace ‘Onipa‘a — to remain steadfast, committed, and resolute in all we do. It is more than a value; it is a standard of excellence that governs how we show up for our partners, our people, and our purpose. ‘Onipa‘a is the spirit of resilience, unity, and unwavering integrity — essential traits for every mission and every contract.

Contract with The Ali’I Group
As a Native Hawaiian nonprofit (NHO), The Ali‘i Group (TAG) sponsors an NHO-owned, for-profit subsidiary—Ali‘i Business Group (ABG)—with an SBA 8(a) application under final review. Upon approval, agencies can use the NHO-owned 8(a) sole-source path for rapid, compliant awards at fair, negotiated prices.
- DoD: Sole-source acceptance up to $100M (13 CFR 124.506(b)(2); DFARS 219.808-1).
- Civilian agencies: Awards over $25M require a written J&A (FAR 6.303).
- Protests: Eligibility and size protests are not permitted for NHO-owned 8(a) awards (13 CFR 124.517; FAR 19.813).
This streamlined approach shortens acquisition timelines, increases certainty for contracting officers, and enables TAG to reinvest returns in programs that advance Native Hawaiian communities.
